Empecé a fotografiar desnudos llevado por la curiosidad y necesidad de estudiar el cuerpo, aprender de él y desprenderme de prejuicios y tabúes. Se convirtió así en un ejercicio de liberación, quizá de la manera en que lo hacían algunos fotógrafos a mediados del siglo XX, con un sentido de revolución sexual. Puedo decir que también fue mi propia revolución.
I started photographing nudes out of curiosity and a need to study the body, learn from it, and let go of prejudices and taboos. It thus became an exercise in liberation, perhaps in the same way that some photographers did in the mid-20th century, with a sense of sexual revolution. I can say that it was also my own revolution.
